Tale-Like Traces

Simbart Projects hosts Mustafa Bağcı’s first solo exhibition titled “Tale-Like Traces” between 17 May and 29 June. The exhibition brings together the artist's new productions on the relationship between industrial objects, human and nature. Bağcı mostly bases his productions on the concept of dichotomy and tries to establish a connection between the past and the present. By focusing on the meaning of images and signs, the artist invites viewer to establish a relationship between the images positioned on a surface. Bağcı sees the experience of the process as a part of his production. He manipulates and personalizes the meanings of didactic, warning and general pictograms, which are part of the industry, and uses them in his productions.
